Case study 2 – My Quiz App
This second project created by me is based on the same information obtained from the survey that I analyzed for the first case study. So I will start by identifying the user personas.
User persona: to create an ideal identikit
Name: Carla
Profession: Student
Quote: “I never remember anything, it seems that my effort to study is useless”
Biography: Carla is a 22-year-old girl studying in the tourism science course. Usually, she always writes summaries, creating concept maps, but she can’t memorize well all the concepts studied. She has already tried other study methods but is unable to obtain effective results.
Goal: Carla wants to train her memory, improving her skills with new learning techniques.
Needs: Learn the lesson topics in an alternative way and always be motivated to continue her studies.
Design thinking: probable solutions for real problems
Feature: An ideal study method for Carla could be the use of an app to create quizzes, for each category or subject. For example, she could insert a text question or an image with the relative answers. Then she could edit, save, share, or delete her quizzes. At the end of the game, she would see all the results of the answers and the progress achieved for all the completed quizzes.
Benefit: She will be able to train her memory obtaining great satisfaction during her university career.
